Does TSS train and battle with all types of lightsabers? If so, what saber type do you recommend for a free-for-all?

Well, we do train and battle with all types of sabers, but in terms of a free-for-all, it all depends on the person's taste. A single saber could be just as deadly as dual or staff sabers if used well.

How do you prepare your clan for battles? Do you train team tactics as well as dueling?

We primarily do duel and single person tactics, since you rarely see a team-free-for-all like a real battle scenario. We do discuss and use a few ideas in terms of fighting more than one enemy at a time, or having many against one enemy, so we don't kill each other and not the target.

What are you looking for when you evaluate new recruits?

Not much actually. Of course you want them to have SOME level of skill, but we are a school,
so we take almost anyone who wants to learn and get better. We have had some major noobs join up and become amazing fighters.

Any advice on how an individual player can improve his duel?

Patience, patience, and more patience. If you move hastily, you will definitely lose, but aside from that, study your opponent's style, and know all the
strengths and weaknesses of the saber style you use.

What's the toughest part about creating and running a clan?

That would most likely be playing the parent. Especially in a new clan, you have most of the members going directly to the leader with all their problems, which can get annoying, rough, and damn frustrating too. It gets hard to keep everyone happy, and still have fun. But it's worth it.

Some of the force powers can seem a little unfair at times. Is there a reliable way to counter force grip or push?

Hehe, yeah I hate some of them too. I think the best way to counter almost any force power is to deny it the chance to work, so basically use absorb. Whenever there are people gripping and draining and lightning-ing I just absorb, and use whatever force power I gain from it in an attack on them, or to heal myself. That seems to work the best for me.
