Kolin Tregaskes takes strikingly vivid photographs of nature, urban life, landscapes, wildlife, and of course, his dog Kaz. He frequently posts his photos on Flickr.com, and has graciously agreed to post some of his images here on Dark Matter. He describes himself in his profile:

I’m a keen amateur photographer who is learning every day. Photography is a passion and a hobby that’s taken over my life. So much so I’m looking to take courses on photography (as well as drawing) with the Open College of Arts. I really enjoy taking photos but feel I have a lot of room for improvement.
